Eidos life president, Fighting Fantasy co-creator and OBE Ian Livingstone has yet another new title, GamesIndustry reports. The industry veteran and frequent political champion has been appointed chairman of social game developer Playdemic, which he’s been involved with for a couple of years now. Playdemic is responsible for Village Life, Gourmet Ranch and Kingdom Quest, among others mobile and browser-based titles.

The general consensus is that future consoles will be digital only, and something Eidos life president Ian Livingstone agrees with fully.
