Amazon.jp‘s posted what Final Fantasy Type-0′s box looks like for when it releases in the country next month. Grainy images emerged of it last week via a NicoNico stream, but the direct-feed version is out. It pretty much looks amazing for just a boxart. There’s an image of it below the break. Game’s out on October 27 for Japan on PSP.

A timeline or date isn’t given for the taster’s release, but you can probably bet it’ll be September if it’s before release.

Game director Hajime Tabata is the one behind the stick and doing the honours on commentary. Bear in mind it’s moonspeak, so don’t expect to understand too much – or anything – at all. Get it after the break.
Final Fantasy Type-0 launches on October 13 in Japan for PSP with two UMDs. Thanks, Andriasang.
Wed, Jul 20, 2011 | 06:47 BST
After zillions of years in development and a full-blown platform switcheroo, the finish line is finally in sight for Final Fantasy Type-0. Andriasang reports that Square Enix has given the tamely named (at least, in comparison to Theatrhythm and [duodecim]) RPG a Japanese release date of October 13. It’s tipping the scales at two UMDs, too, so it’ll carry a higher-than-normal 7700 yen price tag.
Catch a celebratory five-minute trailer after the break. Sadly, it’s not just five minutes of characters striking victory poses. Oh for the good old days…
