Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 has received a new gameplay trailer from City Interactive, following a spate of silence on the project. It’s ‘soon to be released’ according to the developer’s official YouTube channel. If you’re a fan of lush visuals and CryEngine 3 horse power, then you’d do well to check out the clip below.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 will release on Wii U, if a listing on the ESRB website is any indication. The CryEngine 3 developed game is set for a January release on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 already, and was originally slated for release in October. We’ll send Namco a mail and ask for more details. Namco Bandai has delayed the European release of Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2, Eurogamer reports. Previously expected on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on August 21, the shooter is now due on October 9. No word on whether the US launch has been pushed back; we’ll chase it up. Note that this is just the latest in a series of delays.

Seriously. That game is getting its money’s worth out of CryEngine 3 if you can make sniper scopes look good. Gamefront has a whole handful of shots of the City Interactive shooter.
Namco brings the game to the UK on August 21 for PS3, 360 and PC.

Namco Bandai’s announced it’ll release Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 on August 21. The City Interactive FPS sequel will use CryEngine 3 to power the game, making it “the most authentic sniping experience to date in a video game”, according to Namco, who is distributing it in the UK, Greece, Italy and Spain.
It’ll launch on PS3, 360 and PC.

Former CD Projekt man Tomasz Gop has announced the RPG he’s working on contains a combat system inspired by Arkham City, Dark Souls and Kingdoms of Amalur. Developed by Deck13, the game – codenamed Project RPG – will take place 1000 years after the death of a God, whose corpse has turned into a mountain thus dividing the earth in twain. Each half adheres to its own belief system which means you will have to choose your side early on in the game. Enemies in it will also be recognizable by their behavior instead of how they appear. City Interactive is the publisher, and it is slated for release on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 sometime next year. Thanks, DigitalSpy.
