The Animus looks more engaging in the Assassin's Creed movie than it does in the games.
As we approach the release of the Assassin's Creed movie in December, you'll start to see more and more footage from the movie in the form of very short clips. This is standard business for movies these days.
The latest Assassin's Creed clip shows new footage of the Animus, the machine that allows anyone to tap into the memories of their ancestors. In the games, the Animus looked like an operating table with various cables and screens attached to it.
In the movie, it's more of a device, that also appears to cause a lot of pain to protagonist Callum Lynch. You can see it for yourself in the featurette above.
The Assassin's Creed movie will hit theatres on December 21.
