Improved lighting & textures make Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered really shine

Although we've only seen a glimpse of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered footage during the big announcement yesterday, we could always use a bit more.

Good thing then Infinity Ward put out new screenshots that show off iconic scenes from some of the game's campaign missions. You can clearly see the higher-resolution textures and better lighting on display in these, much like what we're getting in multiplayer.

Some of these scenes have benefited a lot from the jump in hardware power.

Take a look:

The Modern Warfare remaster won't be sold standalone. Getting Infinity Warfare's legacy or deluxe edition are the currently your only option if you want to get your hands on it.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered are out November 4 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
