The Game Awards 2015: The Witcher 3 leads with six nominations including Game of the Year

Nominees for The Game Awards 2015 have been announced.

Fallout 4 is up for three awards including Game of the Year, and Bethesda is also up for Developer of the Year.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is also nominated for Game of the Year along with five other awards. CD Projekt RED is also up for Developer of the Year.

Other multiple nominees include: Bloodborne, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, Super Mario Maker, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Batman: Arkham Knight, Ori and the Blind Forest, Her Story, Life is Strange, Halo 5 and others. Some of these nominations include Best Performance.

According to the official website, the nominees are selected by 32 international media, and in some cases, jury members are provided advanced review code of upcoming games "in order to meet the Game Awards 2015 judging deadlines."

All of the game nominated below have to have been released commercially by Tuesday, November 24 to be eligible for awards.

eSports nominees were voted on by an advisory panel consisting of eSports media and or eSports site professionals.

The Game Awards 2015 takes place the evening of December 3, kicking off at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT. The livestream can be watched via Twitch, YouTube, Steam, Xbox Live, and PSN.
