Sure, go for a club that suits your play style and not out of loyalty, but remember that some teams have a distinct advantage over others. Put aside your pride if you want to win: these are the top 10 clubs in FIFA 16.
10. Atlético Madrid
Sure, this is the first time during the many FIFA releases that we'd place Atlético Madrid in the top 10, but it's for good reason. The team has Jackson Martinez as a well-rounded player, alongside Fernando Torres up front. The two are a great team - Martinez can push out defenders in tight spots and cross to Torres to capitalise on plenty of scoring opportunities.
This is also a team that's comfortably able to take on the big boys of the Spanish La Liga, something you're going to need if you look at the later teams in this top 10 list...
09. Juventus F.C.
Juventus isn't a team known for its quality strikers up front. But what it does have is solid talent in the midfield and defense. Check out center mid Paul Pogba for some of the best skills sets in FIFA 16 - he's got a good chance of scoring from almost anywhere over the midfield line. With Sami Khedira in defensive midfield and Giorgio Chiellini in center back, coupled with keeper Gianluigi Buffon, you have a team that holds its own against any other team in the game.

Mesut Özil in center-mid and winger Alexi Sanchez have put Arsenal in the five-star FIFA clubs. And with the speed of Theo Walcott (one of the fastest in the game) you have a winning offensive combination. With keeper Petr Čech you can feel safe in defense too. Keep the ball moving quickly with this team and you'll have plenty goal opportunities.

Never underestimate Germany's Bundesliga heroes Borussia Dortmund. The star player here is Marco Reus, a cracking midfielder with speed, versatility and the skill of controlling the ball in tight spaces. You have a solid starting 11 here with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and fellow midfielder İlkay Gündoğan to boot, along with the ever-intimidating Yellow Wall. The crowd loves you, show them what you've got.

Anyone who's played previous FIFA games will know that Zlatan Ibrahimović has been near the top of the game for a long time. FIFA 16 is no different. He's a big lad, and combined with sharp shooting he can change the pace of a game within minutes - provided there's the space for him to do so. But he's not the only force to be reckoned with here. Add support from midfielders like Di Maria and Cavani, and the defense of Luiz and Silva, and you have a favourite team of many. If PSG is on the pitch, you want to be playing with them, not against them.

There's a triple threat here: Eden Hazard, Cesc Fàbregas and Radamel Falcao will open up plenty of opportunities at the goal. But never underestimate the skills of keeper Thibaut Courtois, a physically intimidating player who can put a stop to goal scoring dreams. Chelsea plays physically, which means when in possession you should push hard and quickly to break through defenses for scoring opportunities.

This is a team stacked with good skills for FIFA 16. With captain Yaya Touré and transfer Kevin De Bruyne in midfield, David Silva the strongest he's been in the game in years, and Kun Agüero as well, this is a squad able to open up space on the pitch and use it to their full advantage.

Everyone knows this dream team. There's the big three players; Messi, Neymar and Suarez, but then also star midfielder Andrés Iniesta. This is why FC Barcelona is the defending Champions League winner. You've got world class offense talent and a solid back line, so there's really no need to see FC Barcelona losing in FIFA 16. If it does, you might want to brush up on your own skills.

Bundesliga's FC Bayern has the most balanced team in the whole of FIFA 16. You have wingers Frank Ribery and Arjen Robben alongside Robert Lewendowski. Add to that Thomas Müller and Arturo Vidal in the midfield and the best goal keeper on the planet, Manuel Neuer, and you have an almost unstoppable force. Unstoppable that is, unless you're facing...

This is the big one. Bona fide international superstars Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale have an amazing combination of speed, handling and finishing, with the ability to crack a game wide open at any point when they get possession. Add to that striker Kareem Benzema who hardly ever misses a goal-scoring opportunity and you should be putting them in the back of the net throughout your 90 minutes. James Rodríguez will put the ball through its paces as he moves at a cracking speed. And then you have the back formation of Ramos, Modric and Marcelo keeping the defense tight. Goalkeeping might be the only slight weakness here, but with such a powerful team upfront you should be too busy dominating the other half of the pitch.
