GTA 5 looks a lot like Limbo without textures

Every screenshot you see for Grand Theft Auto 5 is carefully textured, carefully lit. But what if everything was tripped down to basic silhouettes?

Artist Kim Laughton has created a project called los_santos.obj. It strips the well-detailed GTA 5 textures from the landscape shots, resulting in a haunting, Limbo-like aesthetic, that brings depth into the forefront.

The project is featured in Monadigital exhibition called Flanetrie, currently underway in China.
