RARE composer says 2015 is going to be "huge year" for the studio

This is going to a be big year for RARE, according to a tweet from the firm's composer, Robin Beanland.

The tweet reads: "This is a HUGE year for Rare...and these notes."

The notes in question, are four A notes in 4/4 time. The second line shows one D note, both are on the right clef and the composition is in C, F and G sharp.

Sounds like the intro to Banjo Kazooie to me. That's if I am reading the notes correctly and if the sounds in my head are meshing with said notes (I am really rusty on the piano). I played it on a virtual keyboard online and it seems right.

I looked this video up to compare what is floating in my head to the actual intro. It matched up, but my musings aren't a confirmation of a new Banjo Kazooie.

But even if the notes do correspond to the franchise's intro, it could just be Beanland tossing something up on Twitter for fun.

Xbox head Phil Spencer said last year he didn't want RARE to be known as the Kinect Sports studio, and stated the developer had various ideas in the works.

Spencer said at the time RARE had “some great ideas” the studio was excited about and that the firm is an "important part" of Microsoft's future.

We'll keep an eye on this for you.
