Clock Tower spiritual successor Project Scissors has been titled NightCry

The Clock Tower spiritual successor, Project Scissors, has been titled NightCry, Nude Maker has announced.

Slated for Android, iOS, and PS Vita the horror game takes place on board a cruise ship adrift at sea where murders, both mysterious and rather gruesome, are taking place.

The player must figure out who is committing the murders while trying to protect themselves and the other passengers.

A teaser directed by The Grudge director Takashi Shimizu has been released for the game, and it's posted below. He is also creative director on the project and Silent Hill creative and environment designer Masahiro Ito is also working on the game.

NightCry is being directed by Hifumi Kouno, who headed up the first two Clock Tower games.
