DayZ dev team reflects on one year of Early Access

DayZ has been available to brave Early Access players for a whole year now. Developer Bohemia Interactive and creator Dean "Rocket" Hall look back over a busy 12 months in the video below.

It's been a big year for DayZ. Bohemia's decision to back the one-time ArmA mod as a stand-alone release ended up being a much bigger undertaking than anybody expected, resulting in a full client and server engine rewrite. This is probably going to work out really well for players, but it does mean a much longer wait than we anticipated.

Still, the project seems to be jogging along, even without Hall's involvement (just FYI and ICYMI: he has left Bohemia).
