Alt-Tab (as translated by DSO Gaming) has spoken to a Rockstar developer who worked on GTA Online for current-gen systems.

The developer said that the same team that delivered a good PC port with Max Payne 3 is handling development duties on the PC version of GTA 5.

Furthermore, the developer claims that the PC version is already running at 60fps, although PC specs were not provided.

The PC version of Max Payne 3 is widely regarded as a well-optimised port and one that offered many customisable options. Should this rumour be true, the PC version of GTA 5 will be well worth the wait.

GTA 5 is out on PC January 27.
