Dark Souls 2 speed runner sets new glitch-free world record

Dark Souls 2 speed runner Allakazzaror has established a new world record for glitch-free runs.

The intrepid adventurer, whose real name is Corey Coolidge, managed to complete From Software's notoriously difficult RPG in under an hour - 59 minutes and 15 seconds, in fact.

If you're familiar with Dark Souls 2 but not the speed run scene then Coolidge's approach may surprise you; he uses a shortcut opened up by gathering 1 million souls, and the fastest way to do that is to tackle the same boss repeatedly.
