Watch Scorpion’s uncensored Mortal Kombat X fatality, plus new art

Thursday, 3rd July 2014 09:00 GMT By Dave Cook

Mortal Kombat X was showcased at E3 2014 during Sony’s press conference, but Scorpion’s fatality was censored from the footage. Well, you can watch it now and the results are quite insane.

You can relive the first Mortal Kombat X PS4 gameplay footage right here, and check out this blood-filled screen gallery showing off Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Ferra & Torr, D’vorah and Kotal Kahn.

Here’s Scorpion’s fatality in full:

Thanks Groub scuarol.

But that’s not all because NetherRealm has also posted high-res character art over on the Mortal Kombat X Facebook page, showing off the game’s new fighters:

Now THAT is a fatality that’s worthy of being in a game called Mortal Kombat. I absolutely love the part where the masks front falls off.

And once again, thank god the females are dressed like actual characters / fighters and not random strippers.

Now that we’re getting something like this, is there a link / chance to see Cassie Cage’s X-Ray (Which was also censored and removed from public vids)?

    Wow.

I remember flipping through a Gamepro(?) magazine in a department store and coming upon some very grainy photos of a (not yet released) Mortal Kombat II Fatality and feeling slightly ill.

This didn’t phase me at all. Interesting how we become desensitized with time.

I haven’t played a MK game in years–since II was still in arcades (and there were still arcades!)–but, judging by the clip, they really appear to have captured the essence of the early Mortal Kombat’s with this one.

This is why internet is awesome. When something leaks, you can’t unleak it by censorship and deletion (To a-holes at WB).
