In a press release sent to VG247 today, Full Control confirmed that Space Hulk's new co-op mode is available now for PC, Mac and Linux. It sees up to three players teaming up as Space Marine Terminators to take on a fourth player, who is in control of the Genestealer horde. It's all available through a new lobby system.

“We are excited to release the new co-op mode in Space Hulk. It’s been in development for several months now, as we made a complete overhaul of the multiplayer mode to make it a seamless experience so players can easily jump into a co-op game”, said CEO of Full Control Thomas Hentschel Lund in a statement.

The free update coincides with the release of Space Hulk's new Harbinger of Torment campaign, which includes five missions based on Games Workshops' original arc. It's available now on Steam at $4.99/€4.99/£3.99.

It's been designed with co-op in mind and sees players trying to stop the Harbinger of Torment ship before it collides with the planet Baal.
