Friday, 18th April 2014 18:23 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Tales of Hearts R will be released this winter on PlayStation Vita in North America and Europe, Bandia Namco has announced.

The game will be a retail exclusive to GameStop in North America and available digitally on the PlayStation Store. European details have yet to be provided.

The remake of Tales of Hearts adds 3D graphics, fully voiced dialogue, new events, two new party members, and other improvements.

Thanks, Gematsu.

Why does it start with a PEGI rating when there is no news about the PAL release?

@dizzygear Because Bamco’s official EU YouTube channel uploaded it early, then they made it private, then someone got the video, then they uploaded it on their channel, then Bamco US made a press release, which corresponds with the details in that European video.

What a wonderful story, odd how Baba said no Tales game on Vita will come to west due to poor sales in April last year (LOL whats changed), then said no plans in December and now we are right here: ironically in April.

I also wanted to ask Hideo Baba for a western release of the Vita Tales of games, but as the time was running out and another fan has already asked for this, I sat down again. He’s a really nice and bright person in live. I really like him.
This may be the most important title out of those many western announcements of Japanese Vita games, in the past days.
