I really dislike mortality, but considering how we’re baby factories and so greedy by nature, I guess we need it for now. But it continues to make me incredibly sad when someone truly awesome succumbs to one of the many, many flaws of natural life. I’m idealistic enough to think we’ll overcome it, some day, but we’re going to lose so many people between then and now.

Even when it isn’t personal, it’s still really depressing, especially if someone has had some kind of impact on your life. I still really, really miss Patrick Moore and Bob Ross, two personal heroes of mine. Sigh.

Well, I’m going to hope for the best here, and that Mr. Boyer pulls through. They’ve got my money, for what little it helps. This is why I could never be rich, if I were I’d probably end up like Cecil Tunt from Archer.

    You do what you can.
