Titanfall Xbox One console bundle sold out at GameStop UK in less than a day – report

Wednesday, 26th February 2014 09:18 GMT By Dave Cook

Microsoft unveiled a doozy of a bundle this week, with Titanfall, a console, Kinect, and other gubbins along with an official UK price-cut. GameStop decided to lop another £30 off the top, and the move has seen the pack sell out before release.

It follow Respawn’s Titanfall Collector’s Edition official unboxing video. It’s massive. Watch it.

We reported on GameStop’s £369.97 Titanfall bundle yesterday. Microsoft’s new UK RRP is £399.99, so it was interesting to see the retailer discount the pack further.

Now; DualShockers reports that GameStop UK has sold out of the bundle, which was due to launch February 28 across the country.

The site adds that GAME UK and Amazon UK are still selling the pack, but at the regular £399.99 price.

Did you pick the pack up from GameStop? Let us know.

I’m pretty sure the lack of PS4 availability has something to do with that as well. I’m waiting for gamestop to replenish its PS4 stock, which the retailer sells at 329 quid. That plus infamous:SS SE and MGS:Ground Zeroes cost 410 quid and I prefer that deal.

Nothing wrong with the price of that bundle though, I’m just not an xbox guy, and my 360 is gathering dust since…I actually can’t even remember…Gears of War 2 maybe (skipped the third one and judgment)? I much prefer PS4 exclusives, and MS is putting a lot of it’s games on PC anyway, which is my platform of choice. I might buy an Xbone eventually, but that will be couple of years down the road and titles like Quantum Break need to happen more often over the course of time.

@2 Nah, I’m quite sure PS4 availability had nothing to do with Xbox One being sold out at Gamestop. When the price is right the price is right. And it comes with Titanfall?!? SOLD, SOLD, SOLD…
