Resident Evil 6: movie's wheels not in motion yet, says Anderson

Resident Evil 6 movie director Paul WS Anderson has cooled talk that the Milla Jovovich-starring sequel is coming in 2014. It's not in motion yet, he says.

The Resident Evil 6 IMDB page currently has the flick slated for a 2014 release, but in an interview with Collider, Anderson said, “we’d like to do another Resident Evil movie. Definitely. But the wheels aren’t quite in motion yet.”

The site recalls previous discussions with Anderson regarding the film, stating that it could involve lots of death and conclude the long-running series. Last time Anderson and the site spoke, he revealed that script-writing hadn't begun.

At this point a 2014 release seems unlikely, but what do you think?
