South Park: The Stick of Truth gets a new trailer

Sunday, 8th December 2013 00:05 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

South Park: The Stick of Truth was shown during VGX tonight. It was a tutorial of Cartman, the Wizard class showing the new kid how to perform magical attacks. This means flatulence, apparently. Watch the video below. The Obsidian-developed RPG was previously set for a December 10 release, but will now be released on March 4, 2014.

    We need more Craig!
That said, it was a rather underwhelming trailer.

@2 “That said, it was a rather underwhelming trailer.”

I’d agree in so far as the control mechanics. For what we’ve seen in the trailer, They look kinda… umm… meh, but the rest looks golden, typical SP. I didn’t like the zoom in to the controling character during the tutorial though, I do hope it won’t zoom in like that for the rest of the game. I’d prefer to see the whole picture for as much as is practcable.

This is one game I will certainly be buying.. despite not being Obsidian’s biggest fan

Absolutely agreed. Even if the gameplay was garbage, I’d get this in a heartbeat because this is pretty much a SP episode.

Did you know that’s why we now have the full town plan of South Park in the new beginning credits?.. because they had to work out where everything was in order to make the game. They’d never had a real, consistant plan map for the town before this. :D
