Just Cause 2 multiplayer mod to release on Steam

Just Cause 2's multiplayer mod will see an official Steam release, its creators have confirmed.

One of its developer 'Philpax' made the announcement on the mod's forum.

He wrote, "Since August, we've been in radio silence, working hard on the mod. We've hinted at a big surprise, and we think it's time to finally let everyone in on the big secret: JC2-MP is coming to Steam."

The client and server will be available to download via Steam, and allows total integration of your friends list and relevant features offered by Valve. The mod is currently in beta, and keys are being doled out here.

Testing takes place on December 7, and you can find a list of local times here. You'll find installation details over on the forum post.
