I like that you can change the colour of the cheevo pop up now.

Watching Team Spooky play Killer Instinct a couple of days ago the pop ups seemed to be almost exactly the same as they are right now. Little blip, small box, buggers off.

Its nice for people that enjoy these things I guess. I just hope that theres some way to turn off the auto screen-shot for cheevs device because I just don’t want them clogging up the already limited hard drive space.

Screen grab of the moment is a nice idea.

Bottom left says “Play”. This might be the recorded footage of unlocking the achievement.

This is really nice. Even better if there is a recording of it as TheKeyPit mentions.

Is that definitely what happens, though, or are they just full screen pics chosen by the developer?

Now *this* is a design I like, which is great considering how much of a mess some of the rest of the interface looks.

Taking a screengrab of achievement unlocks is pretty inspired, if that is indeed what it is. Even if it isn’t, it still looks pretty cool.

    Nice screenshots of the moment!
    Thats actually pretty cool.

1000 pics of all the achievements will probably be stored on the Cloud so no biggie.

It could actually be a set image for each one as opposed to a screen grab, but that’ still a neat idea. Way cooler than the icons we used to get.

Not sure. Looking at some of the examples … possibly not. They all look a bit hand picked don’t they? Still nice though. Some of the PS3 trophies had great pictures associated with them, but they were a bit small and inaccessible. Rewarding achievements with a decent screen shot or piece of art work is nice enough.

Yeah, especially that ‘Only the finest’ one.

Would be interesting if you could use them for backgrounds or something, after unlocking them.

Like IM I too like this, it’s bragging rights moment at its best where you shove the achievement screenshot down your nemesis’ throat.
