The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD will help sell Wii U, says Nintendo

The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD will help Nintendo sell Wii U consoles, the firm believes. Speaking with MCV, product manager Roger Langford said now was the "perfect time" for Zelda fans to discover Wii U, and for many, this will be the "first time that they’ll discover Wind Waker and we’re treating the game as a triple-A new release.” The firm is hoping the upgraded title will match the success of Ocarina of Time on 3DS. A Wii U Deluxe bundle for Wind Waker HD, which comes with a digital download of the title and a GamePad decorated in Hyrule symbols and script, is now available for $299.99. A physical copy of the game releases October 4. Review scores for the game can be found here.
