Splinter Cell: Blacklist’s first ‘Blacklist mission’ has tasked VG247′s Sam Clay with eradicating a water pollution threat in Chicago. You won’t see this gameplay anywhere else, so hurry and click through.

Gameplay designer Laurent Malville gives us an exclusive walkthrough of the mission entitled ‘American Consumption’, and a rundown of the game’s mechanics.

With plenty of routes to take, new enemies to deal with, and plenty of gadgets – your only choice is whether to go the stealth route, or just shoot up the place.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist is out August 20 on PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U.
