Witcher 3 E3 dev diary gets a 'making of' dev diary

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt received a rather neat dev diary over E3, which gave a glimpse of the game's massive open world, and how the team at CD Projekt RED crafted the terrain by surveying actual countryside. Well the team has made a dev diary for the dev diary. Confused? Venture inside and we'll explain.

Here's the actual dev diary, which shows some gameplay of the open world in action, encompassing forests, huge cliffs and lakes. It's quite epic:

Now, here's the team at CD Projekt RED actually at the real-world versions of those areas looking like they might die of intense cold at any second. It's a neat look at how the game's world was made, and the amount of effort that has gone into making it accurate.
