300 Heroes: MOBA featuring Naruto, Angry Birds & Wall-E seems to break many copyrights

300 Heroes is the Chinese MOBA that appears to break pretty much every copyright law in town. It stars characters like Shrek, Naruto and Wall-E.

YouTube show Crusader Cast has produced a video looking at the game and its rag-tag band of copyrighted characters. Here’s the clip:

The game is essentially League of Legends with re-skinned characters from several copyrighted series. Check out the video above and let us know what you think below.

How can such things exist in China? I can see stuff like that in black market but a fully developed and official game? WTF is wrong with China?

Unbelievable…. What do you do when there is a country who just doesn’t play by the rules at all anymore? There’s this, that Blizzard theme park, and quite a few other things…

I believe the word that sums this up is “incredulous.”

Still, it does highlight an interesting point — if IP owners in the West got their shit together, they could develop some crossover games which are actually fun. For example, A Warner-Disney crossover would be a blast. Bugs Bunny versus Chip ‘n Dale! Yakko, Wakko, and Dot versus Aladdin! Freakazoid versus Buzz Lightyear!

It could be fairly entertaining to have just a giant rumble with all of these characters, handled by a half decent development house. But copyright laws tend to not easily allow for this sort of thing due to the red tape of licensing agreements.

This MOBA is crap and needs to die in a fire, but it gives me ideas for grand games that could be. Oh well.
