GRID 2′s multiplayer is pretty damn exciting. VG247′s Sam Clay recently got some solid hands on with a preview build and has returned with footage for you lovely viewers. Gameplay galore inside.

The above is a playlist embed for our multiplayer coverage. We’ll be bringing you it in 3 parts throughout the week with each looking at a different race type and track.

Ross Gowing, Senior Game Designer, was on hand to make sure we came at least last in each race. How kind of him.

However, if you prefer watching the videos on their own:

Part 1 – Algarve Sport Circuit, Super Car

Part 2 – Dubai Streets, Live Routes

GRID 2 is out May 28th (US) / May 31st (EU) on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.

I’m sure there will be cockpit. Has to be its like standard now right? Also this game looks like Forza a lot :D

It has been confirmed from way back that the game won’t have a cockpit view. The excuse they made is that only 5% of players use cockpit view.
The game is nothing like Forza by the way, I’d describe it as a driftier PGR with customizations.

The lack of cockpit view sucks, but I’ll live

“The excuse they made is that only 5% of players use cockpit view”
Seems like a pretty good excuse to me.

Did you also know that only 20-40% of people actually finish campaign modes in games?

And to think one of the biggest issues gamers complain about is short campaigns.
