The next beta build of DUST 514, Uprising, will make significant changes to the skill system.
As detailed on the PlayStation Blog, CCP has removed the secondary and tertiary requirement from all skills, so each only has one prerequisite.
The skill tree is now node-based, although a list view is available if you prefer. You’ll also be able to upgrade each skill multiple times.
Thanks to the sweeping changes, players wil be reimbursed for all the skill points they’ve used to date, including those spent on inventory items, based on the market value at the time of the re-spec.
Uprising is due on May 6, and CCP has promised more details on the overhauled skill system soon, as there’ll be loads of rebalancing to take in, too.
