Earthbound hits Wii U Virtual Console in Japan, Iwata & Itoi discuss its creation

Earthbound - known as Mother 2 in Japan - is the next game to hit Wii U Virtual Console in Japan, as part of Nintendo's campaign, which sees classic games hitting the eShop at ¥30 each.

The game hit Virtual Console in Japan on March 20th and will stay at ¥30 until April 18th.

Nintendo President Satoru Iwata and Earthbound's Shigesato Itoi sat down to discuss the game in a Japan-only edition of 'Iwata Asks'.
