Tuesday, 19th March 2013 08:29 GMT By Dave Cook

Urban Trial Freestyle developer Tate Multimedia has confirmed that its answer to Red Lynx’s Trials Evolution is heading to 3DS and iOS in spring.

Both versions will come with 45 tracks and 64 custom bike set-ups, as well as time trial missions and stunt runs. The 3DS edition will be digital-only, available through the Nintendo eShop.

More as we get it.

Have you tried the game before? Does it pale in comparison to Trials? Let us know below.

Thanks Shacknews.

Played the demo on PS3. It’s actually got some interesting differences to level approach compared to Trials, with specific sections times, or marked on longest/highest jump etc. Control, finesse, subtlety are all way, way behind Trials though. That’s before you even consider content levels and features.

The devs apparently said they’d played TrialsHD but not Evolution. They should have.
