Massimo Guarini's studio announces partnership with Sony Worldwide Studios Europe on new IP

Shadows of the Damned director Massimo Guarini has announced his independent studio Ovosonico has partnered with Sony Worldwide Studios Europe on a new intellectual property.
According to Guarini, SCE "understands our vision and we are thrilled to partner with them," he said in the press release.
Last we heard, the studio was working on a movie-length, “emotionally challenging,” game back in 2012, and at the time it was still in the very early stages.
Guarini said he wanted to craft a memorable experience in a movie length time frame that explored more than “throw-away iPhone games and 40-hour long traditional productions.”
Further details on the Sony partnership were not announced.
