God of War digital release expected next week

God of War: Ascension is out now at retail, but if your segue is out of batteries, you can save yourself the walk (or postage) by waiting for the PlayStation Store release.

Answering questions on the European PlayStation Blog's regular update, SCE Europe's Jawad Ashraf confirmed a digital launch is incoming.

"God of War should be by next week," he said. This may not hold true for the North American PSN.

Ascension's review embargo went up early this week, with fairly high scores ranging from seven to high eights in the main, with a few outlying nines.
