Steam client now available for Linux, 50 Linux titles on sale for 50-75% off

Valve has announced the Linux client for Steam is now available with 50 Linux titles on sale for 50-75% off until Wednesday, February 21. You can grab the client from the Ubuntu Software Center. Team Fortress 2 is also now available on Steam for Linux and for a limited time, users will automatically receive a free in-game item: Tux, the Linux mascot. It’s the penguin. Additional Valve titles available on Steam for Linux include Half-Life, Counter-Strike 1.6, and Counter-Strike: Source, Big Picture, and access to the Steam for Linux Community Hub.

I dunno. It’s one thing to make your own games run on Linux, but it’s quite another to make others do the same.

I know this is well dickish, but I think you’re confusing the word make with the word force :)

You need a platform if you’re gonna have someone make their games for it. It’s hard enough to get people to port games to Windows, nevermind Linux.
