Brütal Legend heading to PC, multiplayer beta live on Steam
Double Fine has announced that Brütal Legend is in multiplayer beta on Steam, and can be preordered for $14.99 – a 25% discount off the release-day price.

Those who pre-order will be granted immediate access to the Brütal Legend PC multiplayer beta as well as two exclusive Team Fortress 2 items: Eddie Riggs’ hair and his guitar Clementine.
“Adding a PC release to Brütal Legend’s list of conquests risks raising the world’s ambient Metal saturation to dangerously high levels,” said Tim Schafer, “which is why we’re conducting this closed beta test for preorders.”
Also available on Steam is the Brütal Legend original musical score composed by Peter McConnell, which can be bundled for an additional $4.99 or purchased separately for $7.99.
Rock on.

so they are gonna do a pc version of this adventure game… that really is a shitty rts game, instead of a adventure game as it was announced as. Tim Schafer really fucked up with this one. if he only could have kept it as a adventure game, this would be one awesome game… but sadly he just mixed it with the rts crap so it ain’t. now days you see this game at the bargain bins for 1 dollar.

Hopefully, this is a resounding success, leading to a sequel.

I’m going to hang on in regards to this one, the ‘bundle’ title that linked this and a bunch of other Doublefine games strongly suggested that a Humble Doublefine Bundle is on the horizon. I’ll be grabbing that.
