A teaser page for Star Wars: The Old Republic’s Return of the Gree update has been launched. Details are provided on the new recurring event, Relics of the Gree, which will thrust players into the planet Ilum for a spot of investigation.

As indicated on the update w the official SWTOR site, the patch will provide many interesting things to enjoy. An ancient Gree starship that homes “a powerful opponent” awaits your presence, as does the discovery of exclusive Gree technology. This includes new weaponry and armour.

The post also reveals minor details on the incoming Galactic Reputation feature. Players will soon be able to earn reputation points across different factions, leading to the building of a Legacy. Six ranks of increasing prestige can be unlocked: “Outsider”, “Newcomer”, “Friend”, “Hero”, “Champion” and “Legend”.

Will this reignite your interest in the game? Let us know.

@1 You don’t like this grind fest? It’s perfectly valid not to like it, but there are in fact a lot of people who like playing it:

Well at least they did pick up on the “give us factions to grind” thing that was stated on the forums every now and then.

Though the game is not “bad.” It was quite okay. However today being alright just does not cut it anymore. It did not feel satisfying to play it really. I don’t know why. The ideas were nice. The dialogue was at times entertaining but there was some point in the game where it all just became boring and tedious. Can’t put my finger on it, but it was there.

However being able to fill faction bars and getting more Operation loot does not really sound like a reason to return, at least for me it does not. Give me a way to level a Jedi character all the way without having to kill or fight an Enemy and we might be talking. But as it is right now, I could as well let a bot do all boring killing I have to endure to get the next few lines of text.
