Battlefield 1942 turns 10, is free on Origin now
Battlefield 3 Premium has hit over two million subscribers, and DICE’s series has just turned ten years old, so the developer is giving away its first game Battlefield 1942 away for free on Origin.

DICE took to Twitter to announce the giveaway, along with the message, “To celebrate our 10th anniversary and two millionth Premium member, we are giving away BF1942 for free!”
You can get Battlefield 1942 for free over at Origin here.
That’s it. What are you waiting for? Get on it.

That’s pretty cool.
I think Blizzard should’ve done something like that for their anniversary. Like a pack of their old games.

Wow, it took them ten years to squeeze out every bit of profit they could before they gave it away?
Harsh turn around time.

I guess it is true, I wouldn’t use Origin if they gave away games.

Even 10 years later, it’s still a better game than BF3.

@JPRACER Not at all, I have it already. This is like Namco giving away PacMan. It is nice, but most anyone that would want it, has it. Really this is a just a trafic generator for Origin.
