Total War: Rome 2 video shows nine minutes of gameplay
Total War: Rome 2 is coming next year from The Creative Assembly, and Gamespot has posted nine minutes of gameplay footage featuring the battle of Carthage. Game’s expected sometime in fall 2013 on PC. Thanks, Evil Avatar.

Dont get too excited. Given CA’s recent track record in bull shit, having the game looking ‘superb’ at launch could be 6 months away, like it was when woeful Shogun 2 was launched.
Sexy trailers, millions of bullshots but wait, no dx11 support at launch. Besides, the proof will really be in the AI and, if CA can actually be bothered this time to include multiplayer support at launch.
If they announce a release date before Christmas or early in the new year, then I will avoid this until 12 months after release because it will ship, yet again with lots of basic game mechanics missing because Segas motto is ‘Ready or not, here it comes’…..
