US PS Store update, September 25 - Tokyo Jungle, digital pre-orders, FIFA 13

Lots of goodies in this week's update to the US arm of the PlayStation Store, including a hefty pile of new PS3 and PSN games and loads of DLC.

Perhaps the highlight of this week's update is a pile of full PS3 games, including Mirror's Edge, Starhawk and new releases Dead or Alive 5 and FIFA 13.

This is an excellent point to segue into pre-orders as you can't get much newer releases than "T-minus". Dishonored, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, NBA 2K13 and DOOM 3 BFG Edition are all available for pre-purchase ahead of their Day 1 Digital launches, an initiative Sony formally unveiled earlier today.

Elsewhere, the inFamous and Ratchet & Clank collections are available as bundles.

But now to PSN games. Tokyo Jungle arrives in the US with this week's update, along with Marvel vs Capcom Origins, Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit, One Piece Pirate Warriors, Realms of Ancient War and the multiplayer-only half of Starhawk. There are a number of demos, too.

For the Vita, LittleBigPlanet is out, along with FIFA 13 and Table Ice Hockey.

Even the PSP gets a look in with FIFA Soccer 13 and Final Fantasy 3. Turnabout has been added to PSOne Classics and GTA 3 is available as a PS2 Classic.

Plus members get a free Mirror's Edge trial, Starhawk's single player campaign and all DLC for free, and lots of discounts.

In the DLC realm, LittleBigPlanet Vita, Pinball Arcade, The Amazing Spider-Man, Armored Core V, Darksiders II, Damage Inc. Pacific Squadron WWII, Gran Turismo 5, Starhawk, Tokoy Jungle and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron all have new content available. Only Rock Band 3 got a musical update this week though.
