Forza 5: Microsoft and Turn 10 hiring for next game – report

Tuesday, 25th September 2012 08:28 GMT By Dave Cook

Forza Motorsport 5 development could already be underway according to a job posting calling for applicants to create the next game in the franchise. Check it out below.

Here’s a shot of the job posting scroll down for the full-sized version:

Note the line, “We are Turn 10 Studios and we need you for the next version of Forza Motorsport.”

It’s a multiplayer role, but stating that the next Forza game will have multiplayer is like saying the next Call of Duty will have guns, so it’s no real surprise. The question is, however, is this going to be a next-gen Forza for Xbox 720, or will it be a final swansong for Xbox 360?

Thanks Xboxygen.

Could be one of the last big games for the 360. Aside from Gears of War Judgment early 2013, they don’t have any other exclusives coming.

Dear Microsoft, Forza is boring. Please bring back Project Gotham Racing.

    I think it’ll be 360.

I can see another E3 without MS or Sony announcing machines at this rate! Man… that would be weird.

I think they have seen the oppertunity to squeeze more cash out of them with the Wii U launching this year.

This is an old “rumor” and job postings have already confirmed, that the main Forza title will be on the next generation.

@4 old to you, not old to the many people who have read it so far today.

You know I was certain MS would announce the NextBox this year for release this Christmas. Since the Sony 3 year support presser doubt is starting to creep in about a 2013 announcement/launch from either camp.

If the WiiU had genuinely panicked either MS or Sony then I think we’d see price cuts or announcements by now.

Anyway, back on topic: I think 3 main Forzas are enough for this gen. Forza 5 on NextBox would be a great launch title, and Horizons will keep us going till then.
