Deadly Premonition 2: SWERY teases sequel and director’s cut of original
Deadly Premonition 2 has been teased by designer SWERY, along with his ambition to release a director’s cut of the first game.

Speaking with Eurogamer, SWERY revealed that his team is currently developing a new project that will launch alongside the 10th anniversary of Access Games.
SWERY Explained “We’re in talks with publishers at the moment, and we can’t tell you about the platforms. But by next summer, I think everyone will have a good idea of what it’s going to be.”
When asked if the new project was a sequel, SWERY responded, “Hmm. Maybe.”
“After Deadly Premonition everyone wanted to know when the next project was coming along. I told them it would be in 10 years’ time. So I think they’re still waiting!”, SWERY added.
On the subject of Deadly Premonition: Director’s Cut, SWERY added, “We’re working on the Director’s Cut of Deadly Premonition, and I am writing some new script and scenarios. Whether those will be used or not, and how they’ll be used, isn’t decided yet.”

God i hope this turns true, i loved the first one, such a shame is a very underated game, it is sub par on a few things, like graphics, but man it delivered on story, and mish mash of gameplay, for me the best horror game this generation, sorry dead space, but this game pulled a Wii, i mean a last gen game beat the next gen game.

Perfect analogy there, its exactly like an escaped PS2 game.
I love Deadly Premonition and I hate it in equal measure. If I ever hear Life is Beautiful again I will have to murder someone myself.

This could be great! I hope they at least bring the graphics up to scratch this time though

You know I kinda hope they keep it looking like shit. Use all the money saved to put more features into the game.
More bonkers things like facial hair simulation and stinky suits.

Well, get it looking like a 360 game at least!
