Aksys Games has announced Arc System Works’ BlazBlue series has moved over 1.7 million units worldwide. The firm said 800,000 of those copies were sold in North American. Sales include the BlazBlue titles: Calamity Trigger, Continuum Shift, Continuum Shift II, and the latest, Continuum Shift Extend. Thanks, Siliconera.

That’s it? Well damn… I better buy two copies of Persona 4 Arena then to make up for it! (I have bought Calamity Trigger & Continuum Shift)

IMHO, Blazblue was the best fighting game. It actually required SKILL to pull off combos instead of just spamming ONE combo (*cough*Smoke from Mortal Kombat*Cough*). I hope there is a very strong following for Persona 4 Arena.
