Local Justice DLC, and pre-order items for Max Payne 3 hit PC August 9

Rockstar has announced the Local Justice DLC for Max Payne 3 will finally arrive on PC August 9 alongside DLC previously only available through pre-ordering.

The Local Justice pack contains three new maps for multiplayer: The Imperial Palace, Departure Lounge and 55th Battalion HQ. It also includes the M4 Assault Rifle, Light Fingers Item and a new São Paulo Police multiplayer faction. The pack will be discounted for one week and will run you $5.99. After that, it will run you the normal $7.99.

PC players will also be able to obtain all the pre-order and retail DLC including the Cemetery Multiplayer Map, Silent Killer Loadout Pack, Pill Bottle Item, Deadly Force Burst and the Classic Max Payne 1 Character on August 9.

If you own the Max Payne 3 Rockstar Pass, all of this will be free, of course. If you don't have it, you can still pick it up fro $29.99.

Also, the Max Payne 3 Special Edition Pack is available today for Xbox 360 and PS3 for $1.99/160 MS Points.

It includes: the Classic Multiplayer Character Pack of eight playable multiplayer characters including Mona Sax, Vladimir Lem and Max from Max Payne 2, plus the Disorderly Conduct Multiplayer Weapons Pack (Hammerhead Auto Shotgun, G9 Grenade Launcher and Molotov Cocktail projectile weapon), both of which were previously only available via the Max Payne 3 Special Edition.

PSN users in Europe will be able to download it tomorrow, August 1, and as mentioned above, PC get it on August 9.
