Metal Slug 3 lands on iOS & Android
SNK Playmore has announced the release of Metal Slug 3 on iOS & Android devices, and also sent us some screenshots of the portable title.
In addition to the classic arcade mode, the game also includes a mission mode which allows the player to select which stage they wish to play. There is also a branching map system which will show you a different route to take to the end of the stage with each play-through.
New slugs have joined the Metal Slugs and Slugnoids, and they are the: Slug Mariners, Drill Slugs, and Elephant Slugs.
On top of this, it comes with multiplayer via the Bluetooth function and network rankings.
Pick it up now on iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad with iOS version 4.0 and later for $6.99. It will also run on Andorid devices updated to version 2.3 and later.

Additional info: it has iCade support (no buttons On screen) and resizes ok to the iPad, which makes it a nobrainer. I wouldn’t recommend it without iCade though. Best part of the series imo.

1. The new specs are interesting but do not compensate at all those seven dollars, which I see too excesive.
2. The best part of the series was Metal Slug 2. The best balanced game, and not just a Bullet hell scroll shotter.

1. I have it on Mame, I have it on PSP and now its on iCade/iPad and its fantastic. You don’t need to buy it, you know.
2. Part2 comes nowhere near to all the secrets you have in MS3.

Is it possibile to play in multiplayer mode with 2 icade controllers?? Nobody talks about it!
