Nintendo won’t repeat 3DS pricing mistake
Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata has reiterated Nintendo’s commitment to keeping the Wii U affordable.

According to Andriasang‘s translation of an interview which appeared in the Yomiuri Shimbun, Iwata said Nintendo has learned its lesson from the launch of the 3DS.
“We won’t make the same mistake that we did with the 3DS, which was considered relatively high by consumers,” he said of the Wii U’s price tag.
The 3DS launched in March 2011 and lowered in price dramatically by August after early sales trailed off markedly.
Iwata and other Nintendo figures have repeatedly stated that the Wii U will be as affordable as possible; top creative Shigeru Miyamoto recently discussed the difficulty of balancing performance with cost.
Nintendo is yet to announce a launch date for the Wii U, let alone pricing.

Anything over 300 quid / 350 euro’s won’t cut the deal with costumors i tell you. For me I won’t go higher then 300 euro’s at launch. Else I can wait for a little while you know.
