Black Ops II demo showed LA in ruins, presidential extraction, explosions
A Black Ops 2 video and gameplay was shown during MS’s E3 press event, showing the extraction of the president of the US after an attack on what looked to be the 2025 G20 summit. He was extracted after much gunfire and death, and the demo flash forwarded to LA and an escort for the French president was shown as well. It looks like his plane crashed. I could be wrong though. Again, all this was amid heavy gunfire. A skyscraper in LA toppled, and the city was shown in ruins. A jet came down, and Mason, the main character, hopped in and started flying it to protect the presidential convoy, which included the ambulance the player will need to protect. The demo is posted below.

Each new game tries to up the previous one in terms of destruction porn. Next COD game is literally you running from a crumbling ground start to finish, while the whole planet gets sucked by a black hole activate by alternate dimension russian muslims.

If he hates a computer toy for some mental reason, then it’s engineers are poor. No justification needed. Erthazus is a thing in itself. He just says ‘Be’ and it becomes so.

I think it’s another case of jumping the shark.
I’m not much of a Treyarch fan, but going Cold War or at least retro was a great idea. There are lots of weapons and scenarios that haven’t been explored, and I think the idea behind Black Ops was spot on.
The execution sucked through and through, but I don’t think that’ll be easier to take when they put a Call of Halo spin on things.

The game looks/feels great. IMO. TreyArch should have branched out of the CoD’s franchise.

A funny thing. They make a game about the future using a legacy engine. It’s apocalyptic so that they can cover everything with smoke and pre-made rubble.
I just hope DICE will follow up on this by releasing a new version of BF2142 in year 2014.

When i watchd the CoD presentation i still don’t get where is a REAL Gameplay, because 90% of that was a corridor bullshit with cheap talking and Xplosions.
One overhyped sci-fi game even had static jungle in 2012. That was Amazing… Yeah. Lol.
