Need for Speed: Most Wanted listed on Twitch.TV E3 2012 schedule

Looks like someone at Twitch.TV didn’t get the memo about Need for Speed: Most Wanted’s surprise reveal. The key word was surprise.

In its E3 2012 booth broadcast schedule, Twitch.TV listed Need for Speed: Most Wanted, which EA is probably going to announce during its press conference on June 4. The publisher had previously confirmed a new Criterion-developed racer is on the way, but had not detailed it; Hot Pursuit 2 was a favourite guess.

The Need for Speed series already contains one game subtitled Most Wanted, a 2005 release on multiple formats, with a flagship Xbox 360 version. Seems a bit soon for a reboot; maybe we’ll see it re-released alongside another core entry.

Twitch.TV also listed a number of other apparently unrevealed titles – notably from Capcom, Ubisoft and Warner Bros. – but coyly posted them as “TBA”.

E3 2012 is next week. Hooray!
