EA files trademark application for SimOcean

EA has filed a trademark for SimOcean. We don't know a blessed thing more, but before you get too excited, consider that the SimCity reboot means it's a great time to make some defensive registrations, and that Maxis's Glassbox Engine does a lot of really funky things, some of which EA would be mad not to copyright. Good that? Good. Now go forth and speculate about The-Sims-meets-Spongebob to your hearts content.
