A date has been set for the trial between Call of Duty publisher Activision and former Infinity Ward leaders Jazon West and Vince Zampella.
The complicated case involves several suits and counter-suits; the ex-Infinity Ward staffers are suing Activision for breach of contract and unpaid royalties, while Activision has implicated EA in a headhunting scandal.
The whole shebang began in July 2009 when West and Zampella were famously escorted from the Infinity Ward offices by security. The pair have since founded a new studio, Respawn Entertainment, attracting numerous former Infinity Ward staffers, and signed on with EA.
