GAME, GameStation sites go down for maintenance, come back

GAME and GameStation‘s websites are now back online after a brief period of maintenance. The group told MCV the downtime was as a result of a fault, adding “the web service will resume imminently”. It’s been reported this weekend that the retailer has put itself for sale. Share prices have hit 0.5p this morning.

same, though they had a sale on preowned stuff all week. I had the option to pay with paypal and i got some cancellation email from game the other day so used my card the other day.

It should only be pre-owned stuff on sale if they do as they can send new stuff back to the supplier.

Edited. It’s a knuckle-whitening news roller coaster.

@#6 I’m hooked lol. I will be sorry to see them go though as a gamer and fellow retailer.

Silk, where’d you buy £10 worth without paying double that in fees? Genuinely interested in dabbling.

@10 Yeah fees are a bitch. But not too bad this time, paid £7.50 @ The Share Centre. I’ve also got some shares in THQ in case they turn things around.
