Darkness II launch trailer is big on atmosphere

2K has sent over a cracking cinematic trailer for The Darkness II, giving the uninitiated some insight into what it’s like to have a symbiotic relationship with an ancient entity of pure shadow. Spoiler: it’s awesome.

If you’re not into cinematics, you can always watch Pat play through the demo – or download it yourself, from Steam, the PlayStation Network or Xbox Live. We think it’s pretty sweet.

The Darkness II launches on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 7 in the US, and February 10 in Australia and Europe.

Awesome trailer, and just tried the demo, which is also awesome, however the pc controls are really bad, so i’m going to play the game when it is released with my 360 controller x)
